Carbon dioxide gas expansion construction of Xiushan County Fuxing Sand and Gravel Co., LTD
Xiushan County Fuxing Sand and Gravel Co., Ltd. is located in Group 3, Shamao Village, Xiaoxi Township, Xiushan County, Chongqing City. The project mines ore for use as auxiliary stones for train tracks.
The rock at the construction site is quartz sandstone, which is resistant to wear, pressure and weathering. The hardness of the quartz sandstone is 85 degrees, which is both hard and sticky. Even if the blasting machine continuously strikes this sandstone for more than ten minutes, it can only form a white mark. The mining difficulty is extremely high. Four teams of drilling machines were invited successively, but all found the operation difficult and thus could not proceed. This kind of hardness cannot be exploited by manual or mechanical means, and the vibration and noise caused by the blasting method are relatively large. Therefore, a special new process of carbon dioxide cracking is adopted.
Carbon dioxide fracturing utilizes the vaporization and expansion of liquid carbon dioxide upon heating, rapidly releasing high-pressure gas to break rocks. This approach overcomes the shortcomings of previous blasting mining and pre-cracking methods, such as high destructive power, high danger, and the crushing of ore bodies, providing a reliable guarantee for safe mining and pre-cracking in mines.
Chongqing Chuangpuda Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. conducted an investigation of the construction site and formulated a detailed construction plan: We drilled 25 holes a day and a half, installed 25 pipes, and the open face height of the site was about 7 meters. We drilled with a 3.5X3.5X4 meter straight row drill, strictly controlled the size of the drilled holes and the corresponding size of the straight row drill, and the final result measured by the boss (crack 鏠 size) was 35m x 6m x 5.5m total 1155 cubic meters, each pipe output 46.2 cubic meters.
The problems such as the high difficulty of mining have been successfully solved. While the output has increased, safety has also been guaranteed.
